On Two Wheels!

Wow, Emilee took a huge step forward today. She decided to finally take off the training wheels of her new "Princess Bike"!

She took off and nothing stopped her. This is her big win and now thinks that she can ride her bike the two and half miles to kindergarten this fall.

If gas prices stay like this we might just let her...

Great Job EMILEE!

Green Belt

I enjoy going to the green belt to go walking, feed the ducks, having a picnic, and just relaxing. The waterfall is really fast this year which makes it absolutely beautiful. Here are some pictures of the falls with the temple in the background. We also went to the visitors center and got our pictures by the statue of christ. We are so lucky to have these beautiful things so close to home!

Temple Grounds....

I thought it would be fun to take pictures around the temple with the girls all dressed up. The grounds are so beautiful that almost every step is a picture moment. The girls wanted to stop at every color of tulip because of course they all had a different scent.

Emilee was upset with me because she wanted to make a humongous banquet with all the flowers. Yeah I can see her picking a hand full and still wanting more. She still has a hard time understanding why she can't go inside the temple. We went to the open house in Rexburg when it opened and she was in awe.
Kaitlyn wanted to pick flowers like her sister so we really had to watch her close.

After the storm....

After we had quite the storm look what it let behind! We have been going crazy indoors for the last two days with all the rain. I guess our patience has paid off by sending this beautiful rainbow! I just love how something so simple can put a smile on your face :0) I love the outdoors and would prefer to spend most of my time there. I enjoy to sitting on the porch listening to the birds sing, kids playing, and all of the surrounding noises.

I wish we had somewhere to plant a garden. It would be fun to take on a new challenge and see what became of it. I love fresh cherry tomatoes, peas, and carrots. This year I will stick to my flower pots and call it good.

What are some of the things you like about the outdoors?

Pre-School Graduation!!

I can't believe how fast this past year has went. I was so emotional the first day I took Emilee to her class. I went to walk her to the door and she was like "mom I can go myself." She thinks she is so grown up already and wants to do everything herself. It is so exciting to see her progression, but I don't want her to grow up.

Kaitlyn was so sad that her sister was going to school without her.

Emilee was so nervous the first day thinking I would forget to come get her. She loves to spell her first and last name on everything. I am so amazed on how much she has learned and her excitement about school. It is so funny how everything is "well Mrs. Ottley said." and so that is how everything needs to be. Here is a picture of her first day and graduation. GOOD JOB Emilee!!!

Her new thing is every time you pass the American flag you need to put your right hand on your heart and say the pledge of allegiance. We went to temple square last weekend and man we must have recited it about 10 times.
